Dress Regulations
The minimum standard requires clean, neat and tidy attire for both golfers and caddies, both on the course and in the clubhouse. Consideration and respect for the other members should be kept in mind at all times.
It is the responsibility of each Member to ensure that they and their guests observe the Club’s dress rules.
On the course |
ACCEPTABLE:
Golf Shoes with either soft or metal spikes.
Shirts with a standard collar, crew or polo neck
Logos and signage on shirts are restricted to small logos on chest or sleeves only
Trousers can be cotton/drill, cord, denim/looks like, regular golf trousers or plus fours.
Shorts may be of any length and of cotton/drill, denim/looks like denim and must contain a fly, no draw strings and be able to be worn with a belt. This would include cargo shorts.
Socks (when worn with shorts) can be ankle length, sports or anklets that are predominantly white, If long socks are worn with shorts, they must be pulled up to the knee.
Jackets when worn must be those made expressly for golf.
UNACCEPTABLE:
Denim pants/short blue jeans/looks like blue jeans
Plus fours, trousers must not be tucked into sockS
Beachwear
Non-golf sportswear or industrial clothing/workwear
In the clubhouse |
ACCEPTABLE:
Dress as for on the course plus non-faded blue jeans.
Golf shoes are only permitted into the spike bar and locker room areas of the clubhouse.
Footwear can be conventional shoes as well as sandals, track or walking shoes and leisure shoes with or without socks.
UNACCEPTABLE:
Thongs
Beachwear
Non-golf sportswear or industrial clothing/workwear
If you believe that your attire may offend or is not suitable, don’t wear it and consequently avoid any embarrassment that may result regarding playing golf or entry to the clubhouse.
