Bar and Locker Rooms
The Board have committed to redeveloping the Bar and Men’s and Women’s locker rooms. The aim is to do the project in the middle of 2022 or 2023 after final plans, pricing and permits are sourced.
A small outdoor kitchen is on the list for winter 2021 near the kitchen.
Outdoor Sails/ Roof
The Board are investigating some sail or roofing options for the deck area to further improve the area.

Invoicing/ Subscription Payments
Subscriptions are due now as of April 30 at the latest.
We will endeavor to make contact but in the short term your booking rights may be removed.
Please contact Sue or Brett to make payment or to ask for more time.
We hope to have all our membership renewals complete by the 1st week in May so we can report accurate numbers, plan for the remainder of the year and ensure only members are accessing the course or paying the appropriate fee.
Those on payments arrangements the 2nd payment will come out on May 15.

Being a member of a golf club is more than prepaying a fee to access the course for 12 months. When deciding on your membership in 2021-22 consider these benefits;

In 2021 bag tags will not be printed as they have no operational use anymore.
Please become familiar with your membership card on your smart phone. It is always current and on the drop down menu on the Medway Golf Club website in Mobile view. Over time this feature will become more useful in order for security access and possible member benefits at the till.
During course checks it also acts a identification for golf staff to check your playing rights.
Member Equipment Insurance
All members of Medway are covered for lost/ stolen personal golf equipment to the value up to $5,000.This cover relates to member Golf Clubs and Golf Buggies but not private Golf carts or ride ons.
We ask all members who store private carts onsite or use private carts to take out their own insurance for ride on and golf cart equipment.
The Golf Club includes and pays for this insurance for you and all claims need to go through the general manager. In order for claims to be successful a police report, receipts or purchase, photo’s of your equipment (prior to lost) are beneficial.
A quote or replacement needs to be on Medway letterhead from the Golf Professional.
A small excess is charged and we expect all members who are successful to purchase replacement equipment via the golfshop.
If claims become excessive the club can remove this insurance coverage.
Member Liability Coverage
The Golf Australia Members liability covers all members of all clubs in Australia for liability. The coverage is taken out by Golf Australia and charged to all golf clubs, then forwarded to members. In Medway’s case it is part of the $95 annual GA fee which covers handicapping/ golflink fees etc.
This insurance covers members only whilst on the golf course from a liability point of view even those riding in private or club golf carts.
We will populate at the end of May when membership numbers are more accurate.
