GENERAL CLUB NEWS

20th March 2026

Melbourne Water Sewer Project

As of March 1 we have been informed by Melbourne Water that works have stalled again.

The reasoning is confidential according to Melbourne Water and they don’t have the ability to inform the Club as yet as to the time frames and reasons for the delay.

We are seeking advice and clarity and we will pass on the news to members when we have any updates.

We will continue to present the area and course as best we can. Compensation is ongoing and payments are not impacted by the delays.

A permanent fence has been erected at Melbourne Waters expense along our boundary from the 14th tee to the 8th bunker area, with temporary fencing along the license area.

Precinct Plan progress update March 2026

In December we held an information night to present the Clubhouse and Wider Precinct Plan develop by Well Played Golf Consulting that we adopted to guide improvements, in particular to our practice facilities and access to the clubhouse ‘precinct’ over the next three years.

This note is a progress update to let you know we are moving to execute the plan.

The first step in the plan is to build a new storage shed, with that work including the demolition of the old pro-shop and the caretaker’s house. This clears the way to renovate the practice green area and related access pathways.

Council approval is required to proceed.

Plans for the sheds and the request to remove the buildings were submitted to the council on the 2nd of February.

We are waiting for the council approvals to come through.

When the plans are approved, we will conduct a tender process for the building of the new shed and buildings removal.
